It’s a Harrington jacket and although it is one of the most recognizable brands in Harringtons it is not the only one. In fact Barracuta claims to have invented the jacket style but never referred to it as a Harrington. That comes from US 1960’s TV and Ryan O’Neal played a character named Rodney Harrington on Payton Place and he wore a jacket in the Barracuta G9 style but not a Barracuta. That is where the name Harrington comes from. Ben Sherman has a quality jacket for what you pay. It is 100% cotton not cotton poly like the original. But it’s $168 CDN. Doesn’t have a Stewart tartan lining and has gingham check instead. All of the other brands out there that are more affordable cut some corners and are not perfect.
