Wash it cold, and dry it low! I tend to do this for ALL my clothes, as I wear a lot of dark colors. To print a photo, they converted the photo from an array of circular shades-of-gray pixels into an array of circular solid black dots. Darker pixels transformed into larger black dots. There was a reusable transparency called a halftone screen that was placed on top of or projected into the original photograph. That combination was then photographed with very high contrast film. The result was the variable-sized-dot picture. The halftone screen was made from low contrast film. It had the master array of dots. Each dot transitioned from light gray in the dot’s center to clear at its edge. When the high contrast photo was taken, a white spot on the original would be white in the final. A gray area would become a small spot in the final. A black area would become a large spot in the final. People nowadays don’t have a problem with buying hoodies for $80, heck, some even buy a shirt for $500. But it’s because of the brand, because of the fabric, or maybe because of the pressure from society that makes them want to buy it.
